Sutton and Cheam's water polo players range from 8 to 65+ years and
have plenty of opportunities for competition all year round; competing
in various teams and leagues. Sutton and Cheam are also well represented
in Surrey County and District (London Region) sides at all age groups
from Under 14, to Masters. Some players also go on to England Schools,
the National Academy, Regional Training Centres and Great Britain
representation at junior and full international levels. |

| Sutton and Cheam's first team competes in the Surrey
League Division 1, London League Premier Division, National League
(Division 2) and the ASA knockout competitions. |

| 2nd Team |
|
| Our 2nd team competes in the Surrey League Division
2, London League Division 1 and other local knockout competitions.
The team is made up of our 'Old Gits' and our stronger juniors, blending
experience with youthful enthusiasm. This enables the senior players
to get a 'breather' during games and gives our juniors the chance
to play with more experienced players in games of higher quality than
they might normally meet in junior competitions. Competition for places
amongst the juniors is fierce to the extent we could possibly run
a 3rd team given the water time for competitions. |

| Masters Team |
|
| Our masters are well represented in the Surrey and Southern
Counties Over 40s and Over 50s sides. A number of our players recently
took the Silver medal in the 50+ competition at the XIth
FINA World Championships in Perth, Western Australia. |

| Under 18 |
|
| Many of our under 18 players compete with
the 1st and/or 2nd teams and only compete as an Under 18 club team
in the ASA National Junior competition. |

| Our Under 16 team competes in the London League, Winter
League and ASA National Youth Competition. |

| Under 14/Under 15 |
|
| Our Under 14 / Under 15 teams compete in the London
and Winter Leagues with the more experienced and capable players also
competing with the Under 16s. |

| Under 12/Under 13 |
|
| We have a thriving and very enthusiastic band of Under
12/Under 13 players who compete in local events run by the London
and Winter Leagues. |

| Our girls compete with and against the boys until they
reach 16 years old. We run an Under 18 girls only team in which girls
as young as 13 compete. This team competes in the London and Winter
Leagues. |
